ObAgro Project arrives at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC)
The coordinator of the IFSC occupational safety technician course, Professor Fabiano Oliveira Antonin, welcomed the occupational physician and coordinator of the ObAgro Project (Observatory of Health and Work in Agribusiness) Roberto Ruiz, who donated some occupational safety equipment for the course, such as the decibel meter (noise) and the lux meter (luminosity). These instruments were purchased for research in 2019, with the support of some unions that support ObAgro, in addition to CNTA, CONTAC and UITA.
After the conclusion of the research, the devices were no longer being used, and it was decided to donate them to the safety technician course, as an extra support in the training of these professionals.
With this, the discussion begins on partnerships that could generate specific studies and research on how to eliminate occupational risks, making work environments safer.
